| This, like pretty much every other image in this collection, is a severe case of "you had to be there." Blackjack Road runs along a ridge between Hanover and Galena. The foreground here shows a bit of the restored Blackjack Prairie. The horizion suggests the vistas, but as is so often case, the image only suggests the grandeur of seeing it first hand. |
