This is East Moline where I get on the Great River Trail. The Great River trail is mixed bag of on and off-road segments which more or less follows the Mississippi. Some of it, as does the bit you see here rides along the top of levees. This view points pretty much due east. The river you see here is the Mississippi. It seems weird to me, to look north across the Mississippi to see Iowa.
